King Fisher Island
Took the scouts to King Fisher Island Mid July. We had emerald glass for the wake boards and beautiful sandstone cliffs to jump from. The rope swing was a blast (pictures to come). Of course the best part of the trip was the extra fast fly fishing for Small Mouth Bass. It was insane. I was too busy fishing and releasing to take many pictures. Most of the fish were stuffed with crayfish. The last night on the Island I fished alone at dusk. The bats were out in force and feeding on small mayfly. Whenever the bats would skim the water the bass would rise and try to take the bats. I did not have any bat imitations so I put on the mouse and brought a few in. I can't wait for next year.
